Some are guaranteed by federal law, such as the right to informed consent. This means your doctor needs to give you the information to make a decision if you need treatment like ostomy surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bill of Rights ofThe Ostomy and Continent Diversion Patients Bill of Rights is a tool created by the United Ostomy Association of America, Inc. to help patients empower themselves to care for their own needs and improve outcomes.
