Step 3: Feel better! Show up to your telehealth appointments and complete your skilled therapy sessions with the VR Therapy Telehealth Kit. You’ll receive ongoing guidance from your XRHealth therapist during your plan of care.

VR Therapy is for adults and seniors dealing with pain, anxiety, or neurological conditions. It’s not regular VR it’s clinical, guided by professionals, and designed to support real therapeutic progress from home.

Once you receive the headset, you’ll have a virtual onboarding session with a licensed clinician who will guide you through setup and create a personalized therapy plan. From there, you’ll start your sessions from home, with ongoing support and progress tracking throughout your journey.

XRHealth is an in-network provider with most insurance companies. Co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles vary depending on your plan’s benefits. We deal with your insurance provider directly, so you can focus on your recovery. If your health insurance plan does not cover XRHealth, you can pay out-of-pocket for the service.

Yes. VR Therapy can complement in-person care by enhancing your treatment with guided virtual sessions at home. We’re happy to coordinate with your current provider to support your overall progress.

In most cases, a physician referral or order is not required to start treatment with XR Therapy. We will make sure to let you know if otherwise. However, having an order from your doctor will help our clinical team to make sure we provide you with the best care.

Yeseach patient typically receives a VR Therapy Telehealth Kit (on loan), which includes a preloaded headset and hand controllers personalized by your therapist. If you already own a compatible headset (like a Pico Neo), your clinician can load it remotely with your prescribed VR Therapy applications
