How do I get started using Better health?
If you’re new to Better Health, we’ll ask you to complete a brief 3-stage process.
- Demographics: We’ll ask you for your full name, date of birth, state of residence, address, as well as medical release information should you want someone else to be able to correspond with us on your behalf.
- Insurance: We’ll need information about your doctor, as well as your primary insurance provider (and any secondary insurance, should you have any).
- Product needs: If you already know which specific brand or product you want, we’ll set you up with it. If you’re still looking for the right product for you, we’ll make recommendations and help you order samples to try out at home.
Where do you ship?
Currently, we ship to residential addresses or PO boxes in most U.S. states except Alabama and Tennessee (coming soon!)
Do you require a prescription?
Yes. But if you don’t have a prescription, don’t worry! We’ll personally work with your doctor to get the proper documentation on file so we can get you the supplies you need.
What products and services do you provide?
Better Health aims to make the process of finding and ordering medical supplies as easy and transparent as possible. Currently, we’re able to serve those looking for diabetes supplies, ostomy supplies, intermittent catheters, external catheters, and incontinence products. Along with our products, we’re also happy to offer personalized consultations with our product specialists and be a point of contact with your doctor and insurance providers.
How do I get free samples?
We offer free samples to our new members. When you become a Better Health member, we’ll work with you to recommend the best products for your needs and send you free samples to try out at home.
How do I receive my supplies?
We’ll deliver your supplies to the address you provide in a discreet package. We work with several warehouses across the U.S. to ensure the fastest delivery possible. On average, you can expect to receive your supplies in 1-3 business days (not including Sundays, or public holidays) after you place your order.
Can I change the number of supplies I order each month?
You can customize your shipment as many times as you want A few things to note: It is possible to order fewer products than your prescription states. Eg. if you have a prescription for 100 products per month, you can change your order to receive only 50 products per month. If you need more products than your prescription states (i.e. you have a prescription for 20 products but you want 40), you’ll need to get a new prescription from your doctor. We’re happy to speak to your doctor and help you get a new prescription — just give us a call! Should your order exceed your insurance coverage, you’ll be required to pay the remainder out of pocket. We’ll confirm pricing with you should this come up.
