A pee pouch (sometimes called an external or condom catheter) is an incontinence product consisting of a simple sheath that slips over the penis connected to a drainage bag. The pee pouch is completely non-invasive, easy to use, and odor-free.
The pee pouch is simple to use:
1. Slip it over the penis, just like you would with a condom. If the sheath comes with an adhesive, gently press down and hold it in place for 10 seconds to ensure a secure fit. 2. Use the tube to connect the sheath to the drainage bag. 3. When your leg bag is full, empty it into the toilet.
You can wear each pee pouch for up to 24 hours at a time. To remove it, simply follow the steps in reverse — unclip and empty the drainage bag, disconnect the tube from the sheath, then roll off the sheath.
The pee pouch is completely non-invasive, so unlike other catheters, it’s not painful at all. As with any other change in your routine, it might take you a little bit of time to get used to using the pee pouch. But, once you get the hang of it, you’ll never look back.
You should empty your drainage bag when it's about half full — every 3-4 hours for a small bag and every 8 hours for a large one. This will help prevent leaks or discomfort.
The pee pouch itself should be replaced every 24 hours. Some sheaths are designed to be reusable but it’s best to put on a fresh one every day.
The pee pouch is designed to securely fit and stay on even when you’re being active. The two most important factors to ensure a good fit are (i) size and (ii) adhesive. If you’ve tried a pee pouch before and had problems with how it fits, you may have gotten the wrong size. Pee pouches are relatively flexible so it’s best to always size down.
It’s really important that you choose the correct size pee pouch. Use our sizing guide to find your perfect fit!

You can use pee pouches regardless of whether you’re circumsized or not. If you're uncircumsized, simply leave the foreskin in place and use the pee pouch as directed.
Yes! The pee pouch is designed to be sleek, light, and almost unnoticeable. Once you get used to wearing it, you should be able to comfortably participate in most physical activities.
To ensure that there’s no leakage, always strap your leg bag below your bladder and make sure the tube doesn’t have kinks or twists in it.
Most drainage bags simply strap onto your leg. For best results and maximum comfort, always make sure the leg bag is lower than your bladder — ideally, you should strap it around your thigh, on below your knee. Make sure to leave a little slack so it doesn’t pull on the sheath or your skin.
The leg bag is designed to fit comfortably and discreetly under your clothes. Most users find that they can wear their leg bags under their pants or long shorts without them being visible.

The pee pouch is designed to be used by everyone. If you’re concerned about hair being caught in the pee pouch, we suggest trimming it back a little. There is no need to completely shave.
